Reuse
Sometimes when we no longer want to keep something for its original purpose it can either be used by someone else or kept and put to a different use eg, an old yoghurt pot can be used as a plant pot.
In Staffordshire there are many charities and organisations that specialise in reusing old items so they do not go to waste. For example furniture that’s still in good condition can be donated to the Staffordshire Furniture Network who are then able to provide these items for people suffering economic difficulties.
There are also many websites which can be used to give away unwanted items, while picking up a few things you do want for free! Please click on the links on the left to find out more about the free ways to exchange items while helping the environment.
