Mel Osborne, member of the Staffordshire New Nappy Network, will be joining Newcastle under Lyme Borough Council Recycling Team to celebrate real nappies through a special event in Newcastle Town centre (by the Guildhall) on the 27th August 2010.

A small traders waste disposal scheme is now running at Leek Recycling Centre.

The Biddulph Recycling Centre, Bemersley Road, ST8 7QT has now re-opened following its closure in early January due to bad weather conditions.

Poor weather conditions have led to the closure of some Household Waste Recycling Centres, and due to the unpredictable conditions, further site closures may be possible during this cold period.

Resurfacing work, costing £70,000, is taking place at the Burton Household Recycling Centre, Shobnall Road from Monday January 18, meaning the centre will be closed until Tuesday January 26. 

Due to bad weather conditions featuring a build up of ice and snow the Biddulph Household Recycling Centre, Bemersley Road, ST8 7QT will be closed from the 6th January until further notice.
